Client Reviews

"Working with Kareem was by far one of the most important experiences for me not only in fitness, but life. I started working with Kareem in the beginning of April 2020, right after the pandemic began. At that time, I did not have to the structure nutrition wise and I was not training in an effective manner. After about 8 months of working with Kareem, he has totally revamped the way that I train and retooled my nutrition, thus totally transforming my physique. He has totally changed the way that I look at fitness and nutrition. I am former D-1 athlete and currently a tier 3 trainer at Equinox. The things that I learned from Working with Kareem supersedes the amount that I learned over a course of my entire lifetime in a short span. If you want to take your fitness to the next level and elevate yourself mentally and physically, THIS. IS. THE GUY."

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the questions I get most often about bodybuilding, fitness, or my workouts.  If you have a question, just send me a message in the ASK KJ form.

What’s the best time to do cardio?

This depends on several factors, but I recommend that my athletes do fast cardio or post-workout.

How many meals should I eat per day?

Most of my clients and athletes eat 4-6 times per day, but this also depends on your individual metabolic consumption and efficiency at a given time.

High-Intensity Interval Training or Long Interval Steady State?

I recommend trying both and seeing which you have as a preference for your goals.

How many times a week should I work out?

Daily exercise is doctor recommended across the board at this point. A minimum of 4 times a week of strength training consistently, so you’re going more than 50% of the time, should get someone progressing in the proper direction.

How much water should I drink per day?

A minimum of one gallon of water is recommended.

How often to train legs for growth?

If a body part is lagging, you want to up the intensity and/or the frequency of how you train that body part. I do legs 2-3x per week.

How long should I work out for?

You can be able to effectively train each body part in 45mins to an hour.

Should I do strength training, cardio, or both?

I recommend both, along with a solid nutrition program.

What time of day is best to work out?

Mornings are my preferred time of day.

Do I need to warm up before my workouts?

Yes – I strongly suggest a proper warm-up routine depending on what you’re training that day

Should I lift weights for strength training?

You can do strength training in multiple ways using various resistance profiles, i.e., body weight, free weights, cables, resistance bands, plyometrics, calisthenics, etc.
